During his professional career spanning almost 20 years, Ashutosh Kumar has gained extensive experience in advising multinational and Indian corporates in structuring their investments in India. He specializes in tax and legal aspects of financial and technical joint ventures, M&A transactions, safeguards, countervailing, anti-dumping and competition laws. He has conducted various due diligence covering legal aspects of the target companies. He has assisted several companies plan and set up operations in India, and has advised clients on litigation in cross border disputes. He also has expertise in handling corporate disputes, and has represented corporate clients before the Trial Courts, the Delhi High Court, the Supreme Court of India, NCLT, NCLAT, DRT, DRAT and consumer courts.
