Ashutosh Kumar qualified as a Lawyer in 1999 and commenced career as a litigator. Ashutosh started his practice with Dr. S. K. Verma, a well-known lawyer in Supreme Court and handled various Civil, Criminal, Constitutional, IPR, and Tax matters. He set up “Jurisperitus” as a founder partner having its office at Connaught Place in Delhi in the year 2004. During his professional career spanning almost 20 years, he gained extensive experience in advising multinational and Indian corporates in structuring their investments in India. He specializes in tax and legal aspects of financial and technical joint ventures, M&A transactions, safeguards, countervailing, anti-dumping and competition laws. He has conducted various due diligence covering legal aspects of the target companies. He has assisted several companies plan and set up operations.
